Hi, I’m Carley.

I've been told I have the style of a “grandma mixed with a middle schooler on their first day of school".

I am currently advising Lucky Sweater, the app I founded and was CEO of for four years.

LS is the community clothing swap app that’s putting community and curation at the center of secondhand. We started with curated communities for slow fashion, vintage, and handmade items, and the company is on track to be the "Discord for things"—expanding into any style and interest-based community!

Prior to Lucky Sweater, I was one of the first 500 employees at Uber, launched Uber Eats, and led Uber’s global trust & Safety programming and product marketing. I started my career as a digital content strategist at Ogilvy & Mather for Fortune 500 clients including SC Johnson, Ford, and Kimberly Clark.

My professional journey has made me an expert in sustainability, trust & safety, go-to-market strategies, product marketing, no code, and community building.

Lucky Sweater

I launched and co-built Lucky Sweater, the app that makes it easy and fun to trade inspiration, advice, and things with your favorite niche communities—a community clothing swap in your pocket!

The app is backed by Precursor Ventures, Amasia Ventures, Henry Davis and Bryan Mahoney (former COO + CTO of Glossier), Matt Verghese (Director of Product at Twitch), and more.

I was co-founder and CEO and recently decided to take a step back. I am now advising the team.
